Target market
We know the reality. Indonesia is home to countless talented designers, creative students, and skilled artisans with extraordinary ideas. Yet too often, those ideas remain unrealized due to limited resources, industry access, and production opportunities.
Meanwhile, on the international stage, exceptional work from local designers is often sold without recognition — treated as a mass-produced product rather than a creation with a name and a story behind it.
This is untapped potential that has been overlooked for far too long. But that story ends here.
The Woodara Indonesian Design Contest is more than just a competition. It is a turning point — a platform built for those who believe in the power of their ideas and the future of their designs.
We don't care how small your studio is. We are looking for real PASSION and TALENT. We are ready to identify the strongest ideas, bring 5 selected furniture collections (Indoor & Outdoor) to leading manufacturing partners, and introduce them to the global market worldwide.
A meaningful reward for your creativity, dedication, and hard work.
See your design become a real product through our trusted manufacturing network.
Earn royalties from every product sold and create lasting value through your work.
This competition is open to Indonesian furniture designers, interior designers, architects, design students, independent makers, and small creative studios. Participants should have basic 3D modeling skills and be able to prepare a professional presentation for their submitted collection.
Explain the inspiration, philosophy, and core idea behind your collection. Show how your concept is translated into the final product design.
Include high-quality 3D renderings for each product. Provide at least three different views that clearly showcase the form, proportions, and key details.
Submit product drawings with key dimensions, clear proportions, and views that help explain the product's form and construction.
Describe the materials used in each product, including material combinations, finishes, and the reasoning behind your selections.
